Ivy Tech closed all diversity, equity and belonging offices

Ivy Tech has closed all its diversity, equity and belonging offices across the state. As Mirror Indy reports, it's "to protect the community college’s state and federal funding -- both operational and for student financial aid -- as Republican elected officials take aim at DEI programs."

The move has alarmed students including Jazmine Mays, a 24-year-old with a learning disability. “The whole point of DEI is just to protect people who are different,” she tells Mirror Indy.
