Micah Beckwith shakes up Indiana politics with confrontational style
Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith, a self-described Christian Nationalist, recently called some fellow Republicans "squishes." IndyStar reports: "The behavior is in keeping with the populist strain of the party ... : a gloves-off, personality-driven, confrontational style that stands in stark contrast to the behind-the-scenes, diplomacy-forward style of previous lieutenant governors. To some, ... his style is disrespectful of the institution. For others, it's ... the kind of strong-man leadership activist Republicans have long felt was lacking in Indiana."
