A Tumultuous Year, a Clear Mission

As we approach the end of a tumultuous political year, I want to thank you for your support of ReCenter Indiana. Our objective is more important than ever – reclaiming the political center for a better Indiana.

Our widely publicized billboard campaign ahead of last spring’s primary election dramatically raised our visibility. It also positively influenced some votes. We know that because voters told us so. This fall we made a focused effort to weaken the suffocating grip of single-party rule in Indiana, especially in the state House of Representatives. As you know, our efforts made progress, but Indiana is still not where you or we want it to be – with elected officials who represent the people, not narrow partisan interests or personal agendas.

In 2025 there are no elections. So, in the coming year, ReCenter Indiana Inc., our not-for-profit educational arm, will be studying how best to break through in 2026. In general terms, that means better educating Hoosiers on the issues that matter to them. Importantly, it also means overcoming the apathy and hopelessness that keep making our state’s voter turnout a national disgrace.
