It's time to ReCenter the Statehouse
You want a state government that has the same priorities as most Hoosiers. So does the ReCenter Indiana political action committee. That’s why we’re holding two virtual events this month. We hope you’ll spread the word to your friends. We’d love to have you all join us in webinar-style* virtual rallies on the evenings of Sept. 19 and Sept. 29.
ReCenter is a nonprofit organization of Democrats and Republicans. We are working to restore trust, balance, and accountability to Indiana’s political system by advancing centrists who represent Hoosier values.
As you know, a huge obstacle to a more representative government is the one-party domination of the Statehouse.
A shift of just four seats from Republican to Democratic could break the stranglehold on the Indiana House of Representatives. Analysts have their eyes on five pivotal districts; four of them stretch along the northern border of Indianapolis. On Thursday, Sept. 19, from 7 to 8 p.m. EDT, these Democratic House candidates will briefly lay out who they are and what they stand for:
Josh Lowry, District 24;
Tiffany Stoner, District 25;
Victoria Garcia Wilburn, District 32 (incumbent); and
Matt McNally, District 39.
Not everyone may fully appreciate why one-party rule keeps dragging Indiana in the wrong direction. So, we’ll get an overview of that from Sheila Seuss Kennedy, emerita professor of law and public policy at Indiana University Indianapolis.
Then, on Sunday, Sept. 29, from 8 to 9 p.m. EDT, another ReCenter PAC Zoom event will showcase Democrats Jennifer McCormick for governor and Destiny Wells for attorney general.
Registration for each event is free but required. Below are the links to register for each event.

*Note: These webinar-style events will enable attendees to take part from wherever they are and in anonymity. This privacy may appeal to – for instance – traditional Republicans who want to restore sanity to the Statehouse but don’t want to lose their friends.
We’d be most grateful if you share this invitation with your social network. Please help us to promote these events. If you have any questions, please ask!
